Right now we've got Slack, WebEx, and SfB. You'll have millions of minutes spent in Skype to wave around when getting everyone actually able to hear and participate takes several minutes on top of every meeting and call. I mean, they tout GE, a company in the middle of an incredibly well documented and historically expensive failure of a transition to a "digital" company. Yea, based on our experience with SfB I'm frankly a little gobsmacked there are any enterprise clients with an overwhelmingly positive take on their experience. I honestly can't believe we're paying money for this thing. ![]() Skype for business mac keeps freezing Pc#If you are in a conference room and someone left another account logged in with skype open, then no other user on that pc can make/receive calls - the only way to fix it is to restart the machine. If these conditions are met, your screen-sharing session will automatically start with VbSS. VbSS is only used when all participants in the meeting are using the latest version of Skype for Business client, and conference VbSS is enabled on servers where your meetings are hosted. It reduces the screen refresh rate and so at times this can cause issues for some. Not only is VbSS faster, but it also more reliable and works better in case of low network bandwidth conditions. Video-based Screen Sharing (VbSS) capability added to Skype for Business ensures that connection time is drastically reduced, and the screen presentation is always in sync between presenter and viewer.
